Objectives of the Forum

•  To build and reflect on all learning activities to date
• To explore the concepts of power and influence and how emerging community leaders can develop them further
• To consider the key members of their influencing networks and what actions they might take to improve relationships with these people
• To understand how personality and leadership style might affect the ability to influence
• To develop influencing skills and techniques for use within their roles, organisations and communities
• To provide participants with opportunities to apply what they have learned within their role, organisation or community, with support from their manager and/or peer support (back-home work)
