In March 2008, we held an event in Ibrox Stadium to bring together youth service providers and partner agencies from across the South West to have an initial look at the delivery of services for young people in a joined up approach. 

The main objectives of this event were to:

• Provide an opportunity for Youth Providers to share experience and help shape the delivery of future services;
• Receive feedback from the young persons event (Xscape & Ngage) being held on the 26th Feb and to hear their views on current and required provision;
• Work towards the development of a programme of activity for youth provision across the South West area; and
• Raise the profile of the Youth Networks in operation in the Govan/Craigton and Greater Pollok/Newlands and Auldburn LCPP areas and encourage other Youth Providers to participate.

The Steering Group has met and are now looking at the options for taking the Youth Agenda forward and creating a programme of activity for young people which meets their needs and creates more chances and opportunities.
