Glasgows Single Outcome Agreement 2008
The Glasgow Community Planning Partnership and Scottish Government have agreed the Single Outcome Agreement for Glasgow for 2008/09.
The purpose of the Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) is to identify areas for improvement and to deliver better outcomes for the people of Glasgow and Scotland, through specific commitments made by Glasgow’s Community Planning Partners and Scottish Government.
The SOA will complement the existing Community Plan, as it has been developed around the existing five strategic themes of a healthy, working, learning, safe and vibrant city. The agreement sets out how the local and national outcomes will contribute to each theme, and how agencies will work together to deliver on these.
This agreement reflects a new relationship between the Scottish Government and Local Government and one that the Partnership is committed to developing. The basis on which this agreement is being made is set out in the Concordat between the Scottish Government and COSLA.
