Dumbarton Road Corridor Environment Trust Ltd (DRCET) was incorporated in September 2004.  DRCET was formed in order to develop and deliver the "Yoker, Scotstoun & Whiteinch Environmental Vision" - a comprehensive consultation of local communities, that is "both aspirational and practical, providing a range of policies, projects and management initiatives which could help transform the Dumbarton Road Corridor into a vibrant and desirable part of the city".

 

 

After 10 years of dedication to the project by so many people, DRC Environment Trust is now approaching the realisation of a major part of the Environment Vision 2003 for the DRC community.  Activities such as Eco-Schools, Glasgow Greenies, community group support, green space activities, waste and recycling, renewable energy and others continue to grow.
