City Launches Gaeilc Language Plan Consultation

Draft Gaelic Language Plan 2009 to 2012
 
Glasgow City Council has produced its Draft Gaelic Language Plan 2009 to 2012 and is now inviting comments on it.  The Draft Plan sets out how  the City Council will encourage wider use of Gaelic and a greater appreciation of its place in our city.
 
The Draft Plan is available in libraries and can be downloaded from the Council’s web-site at www.glasgow.gov.uk/consultation . It can also be downloaded opposite (versions available in both English or Gaelic)
 
To help in the development of the Language Plan, it is important that  as much feedback as possible on this Draft is received.  The City Council are inviting comments from individual Gaelic speakers, learners, parents, pupils, organisations involved in the Gaelic community and the general Glasgow public.
