BIG NIGHT IN WAS A ROARING SUCCESS

On 18th September 2008, the annual “Big Night In” was held at St Paul’s High School and was deemed by all who attended as a success!  Every year, Pollok Young Person’s Project arrange for this event to take place for the benefit of young people in the area.  Thanks to the co-ordination and management of the event by the project, young people from across the South West attended and had a fun night. The night saw local organisations and partner agencies come together to provide information for young people and also for young talent to be showcased on the main stage.  A main raffle for the event was organised by Pollok Young Persons Project with various prizes won by young people who had attended.  This event was also run in parallel to the ‘GRAND’ event, organised as part of the GRAND week across the city. 

Members of the South West Community Planning Team attended armed with free gifts and the chance for young people to win various prizes.  Young people were asked to complete a questionnaire to be entered into the prize draw for Sno! Zone, Braehead Shopping Centre or Silverburn Shopping Centre vouchers.
