A programme of events and activities will be held in North Glasgow and across the city from 25th November to 10th December 2008 to mark 16 Days of Action to Eliminate Violence Against Women.

Cara Wright from GCPL North Area Team said “Women and men of all ages and backgrounds will come together to take part in a range of activities from dance, photography and writing workshops to a local school’s theatre production. The culmination of these activities will take place with a Grand Finale event in the Kibble Palace on the 10th December to mark our progress, display our successes and raise awareness of how far we have to go eliminate violence against women.”
